My name is Tom Torkelson. I have been a professional, full-time real
estate agent for 30 years. I've sold hundreds of homes
during my career using a solid marketing method consisting of equal
parts of hard work and creativity.
Most of my business comes from referrals and repeat clients. I'm
grateful for referrals because they are a true test that my clients
are satisfied with the way I sold their home. Your satisfaction is
my number one objective!
I believe in constant communication with my clients, and I work hard
to keep them informed every step of the way. I begin with an
in-depth, market analysis so my clients can see how their homes
compare with the recent home sales in their neighborhood. I attend to
details, big ones and little ones. After 30 years in real
estate, I can anticipate potential obstacles and prevent them from
interfering with the sale.
Every home has a market, and I dedicate myself to finding and reaching
that market for every home I list. I use a 30-step, systematic
marketing plan that has proven effective to sell homes, even homes
that have been listed several times. In addition, I maintain an
active network of potential buyers and sellers, greatly increasing the
chances of a sale.
I've sold homes in many areas of the Twin Cities, and during my career
I've seen the real estate market go through many cycles - both up and
down - and that's taught me how to be flexible to economic conditions.
I believe that real estate is always an opportunity for someone, regardless of whether the market cycle is up or down. I bring that philosophy to every listing.
I am experienced in many financing options and can advise and
pre-qualify potential buyers before getting their name on a purchase
agreement. This saves time and prevents tying up a listing by waiting
for a financing approval that may never come.
Once a home is sold, I continue to follow-up and stay in touch with my
clients through the closing and afterwards. My greatest joy is to see
my clients achieve their real estate goals!
